An Evening with Michael Antonelli
Michael Antonelli graduated from Purdue University in 1995 with a degree in history and moved to CT to work in the back office of AIG trading. He moved to Chicago in 1997 to work for the Dean Witter's futures division later transitioning in 1999 to a 24 hour trading desk at Fimat, a division of Societe Generale, where he executed futures and options. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago in 2007 and joined Baird that same year as a Sales Trader on the Equity Trading Desk, working with the International team. In 2010, Michael began writing a daily email to keep overseas clients informed about market developments while they slept. He started publishing it online in 2013, and it has since evolved into the Bull and Baird blog.
